Scrapped cars are processed in dismantling plants, where many parts can be reprocessed and reused, and the dismantled car shells are also of great use. The discarded car shells are made of low-carbon steel, which can be crushed, cleaned, and sorted by scrap steel crushers before being sent to steel mills for recycling and reuse.
The dismantled car shells are relatively large pieces, and a dual-shaft metal shredder is usually equipped for pre-shredding treatment. After being processed by the shredder, the car shells are turned into uniformly sized small pieces, which are then fed into a scrap steel crusher via a conveyor for further crushing. The mixed crushed material that comes out is sorted by a magnetic separator, separating the scrap steel crushing material from impurities. The material is conveyed out from the discharge port. The crushed material produced by the scrap steel crusher is full-shaped, spherical, uniformly sized, and free of paint and rust on the surface, saving transportation costs. The recycling value of the material sent to the steel plant is also greatly increased. The entire car shell crushing production line includes a shredder, conveyor, scrap steel crusher, magnetic separator, control cabinet, etc. It is automated, saving manpower and improving work efficiency.
The scrap steel crusher is also widely used. It can not only process scrap steel materials but also handle scrap aluminum profiles, color steel tiles, machine parts made of aluminum, and other scrap steel, scrap iron, and scrap aluminum metals. This enables the effective recycling and utilization of waste metal resources, achieving resource regeneration.
